Support our deployment to Sri Lanka by volunteering in our Operations Room

Volunteers staff our Ops room on a live deployment

It’s Go Time.

We are sending a team to Sri Lanka. Their job is to provide flood relief in response to Cyclone Mora.

If you really, really want to help (and it would be most welcome), come to the Operations Room at our headquarters in Chilmark and assist with monitoring and providing remote support to those on the ground. In return we can offer free accommodation and food aplenty. Just tell us when you are available using the link below.

We are gathering availability using a Doodle poll. Enter your name at the bottom of the list under the other participants and the days you can help. A member of our Operations team will be in touch to confirm arrangements. Please only enter the times you can commit to.

Help out in the Ops room

We are looking for individuals with basic level IT skills. We are asking that volunteers can provide availability for shifts covering a 24 hour period which may include overnight working. Volunteers should have good communications skills to help exchange information to the team overseas.

If you want to help in our Ops room we encourage you to sign up now as a Team Rubicon volunteer.
